My motive for blogging
I was on call on Saturday night when kene entered my room and was like babe, what are your plans after school apart from this your accounting career and I was like nne abeg when we get to that bridge we'll cross it. She gave me the "like seriously?" look and I was like okay fine, do you have any ideas?
As a computer programmer she started listing lots of online stuff I could get into, immediately I heard blogging I was like PERFECT!! she said why? and I asked myself the same question which brings me to the main reason why I decided to be a blogger.
I've always wanted to engage in something other than my career path even before I gained admission to study accountancy. I sought advice and was told to learn skills like tailoring, make over, hair making etc, but all those were time consuming and needed much work and attention which I didn't really have as a student. I needed something that would be less demanding and lucrative as well. Knowing fully well how socially active I am, I thought to myself, what if I dedicated some of the time I spend on social media, posting and watching pictures and videos, commenting, liking and all, to something really meaningful? at least all my monthly subscriptions won't be in vain, that was when the thought of blogging came to my mind, I mean it was just the perfect thing I needed.
It's quite easy to start, easy to maintain so long as you refresh your blog every now and then, it will actually help in my academics as I'll be forced to make research about so many things and how they affect our lives and environment and what more? you get to make money from it as well,so that was it and after weighing the pros and cons...BANG!! Here I am.
